I have some HTFU you can borrow. Don't spill it down your blouse, it doesn't come out.

I told gf I should just lock the kitchen and give her the key. That would stop me eating Nutella by the tub..

I like pain and I like food. I don't eat Mars Bars and I skipped beers last night so I guess I have some will power but put me in the middle of a beer festival or offer me a hotel buffet and all bets are off.

Tried alternatives to Nutella? Sometimes you can solve a craving for something by switching to something else which tastes similar (so satisfies the psychological addiction) but is either more filling or less calorie dense. I've been making my own raw almond butter and it tastes very rich but makes me feel very full very quickly, used simply as a spread or dip. I'd have thought it would be acceptable to Nutella addicts. Don't have to make it yourself (although this is not hard) - good varieties to be found in shops.
Mixed with oil/miso/vinegar/honey, otoh, as a dressing or similar, it becomes evilly easy to drink by the pint.

I don't even buy the Nutella, I just eat it because it's there. If it wasn't there, no problem. And as for feeling full.. my brain and stomach are not linked.

Biscuit spread is my current vice...
It was on offer this week and now i'm doomed to be fat forever.

• #7563
Have you thought of not going to beer festivals and getting room service at hotels and not buying jars of Nutella?
-
• #7564
what the fuck is biscuit spread and where can I buy it?
-
• #7565
Is it a spread you put on buscuits, or a spread made out of biscuits? Or both? Please let it be both.
-
• #7566
Obviously the crunchy one is the best.
It works well on toast, crumpets, biscuits (duh!) and, unfortunately, works really well on its own with a spoon.
You can buy it in Waitrose / Ocado where it is currently on offer.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

I'm happy to try it, in the interests of science and all that.

Oh shit - I actually have a massive pack of those biscuits in the cupboard. I'm going to buy some of this and make biscuit sadwiches for dinner.
