Am one run away from hitting 200km on this months prove it challenge which i'm pretty pleased about. Mostly as it's on the running one. Think i'm hovering around 2000th out of 25000. Which is not too shabby.
Not buying a fucking tshirt though.

I've nearly completed every challenge this month, about 50km short on prove it ride, but my commute for the next few days will sort that out.
Not buying any of the shirts though!

Well done hatbeard!

My Gran fondo ride is top 2% in the UK and 4% overall. 123.4 miles.

Only done about 2/3rds of the 600km thanks to a shitty work week. 200km in 5 days = probably not. Especially as the work hasn't eased off either.

double boast post right there, BeardHat

Posted it at the same cutoff time when the servers start backing up. Didnt think it had even posted once.

Yeah, yeah. Have you bought a t shirt yet?

Hmm im on just over 400km not sure I will be able to fit in another 200km in 2 days when I only have commuting planned...
Otherwise that is some long evening rides! -

So are we stuck with the new look strava? It's absolute dogshit.

So apart from the generally clunky and significantly worse interface, it now appears there's no way to analyse your effort on a hidden segment? Am I being simple, or is that really the case?
-
• #2790
Don't know about the hidden sections question but the new interface is definitely a PITA. Doubly so when viewing from a smartphone. Its bad enough when viewed from a PC but lets face it more often than not people are viewing it from a phone and adding comments is particularly painful from the phone but generally trying to do anything on the front page makes my browser fall over.
Didn't Strava get the message that people are using tablets and phones these days.

I find the run interface to be quite good.

Yep, the hidden efforts thing is when you're looking at the ride page, it lists all the segments you've ridden through. At the bottom of that lists it says 'show hidden segments' which are presumably less popular segments, or duplicates or what? I don't know. Always used to exist but you could view the exactly the same as any other segment. Now I can open up the hidden segments, but there's no 'analyse effort' button on them, as there is for all the other segments. Also, the hidden segments don't show up below the elevation graph for a ride, so you can't analyse from there either. Definitely a step back. The android app still looks alright...

I seem to remember the current challenges were visible in the last week of december? How do I plan my weekend of I don't know what I need to do to win at strava?b

Ride faster for longer would be a start?

ouch.

9km left! Should really just go back out and get it finished but reckon I'll finish off with an 'every-bridge-on-the-thames-that-I-can-be-arsed-to-cross' commute in the morning instead.

483km so far. 40km unrecorded last few evenings because of low battery.
73 miles to go. 11 gets me home. Don't think I want to do another 4 hours after that.

Created a route and now it features in the news feed. Tried to find an option where I can hide it and keep it private, but didn't find anything. Going to use something else now to plan my routes.

• #2800
that's shit if they publish your routes. Strava make some really odd decisions about how things work.
I had planned going for a 50 mile ride today but the Scottish rain this morning soon put heed to that, so a quick few miles in the relative dry of the lunchtime lull was enough to tip the scales and get past the 600km to allow me to complete the Strava Prove It challenge.
600km 19,000 feet of elevation all on the S/S
So now the dilemma I'm faced with is do I go for the jersey or the tee-shirt or both!!!
