  • Caught two of my housemates going hammer and tongs at each other over this ridiculous question... So what do you think?

    http://micropoll.com/a/mpview/1176895-3877858

  • Yoghurt is not a meal.

  • does anyone know a shop that sells 35mm carousel slide projectors in London?

I think I have a working one if you want to borrow? it's old school though, no remote.
would need to collect from SW9.

  • "Part of a meal"

  • Well if its dressing. Then thats kinda part of the meal. Although not a stuctural part.

Its not even a snack unless you pour it over 1/2kg of granola.

  • I think you're missing the point of a 'snack'.

  • ...as I have been throughout 2014 so far.

Plus I've just recieved a case of micro-brewery Xmas ale.

puts weight lose thread on ignore

  • Have you seen the ale thread and my xmas list? I got rid of that lot in a week. Too easy.

  • It is a personal or maybe rather cultural preference. I've eaten with Turkish, Greek and Omani families where yoghurt was definitely part of the meal. However when in France, those small yoghurt cups are just in between snacks. What exactly do they mean ''individual'' yogurts?

  • "individual" yogurts: pots too small to be considered more than 1 serving. generally eaten straight from the pot. Often sold in multipacks.

Thing is I just finished off the Xmas beer I'd bought, as well as the duty free whiskey, all the Xmas cakes, and now all the birthday cakes.

I think 'right time to get healthy'

Then an aunt brings a crate of free tastey beer over.

Maybe if I smash over just a few nights I can get back on track.

Then how can they possibly be part of a meal? I hate those yoghurts... Not even big enough to fill a spoon!

  • Q: What is the best photo printer for £100 -200?

  • ^ I hear very positive things about Epson. I'm sure they have a model in your price range, but haven't any experience with photo printers at all myself.

  • Cheers.

Saw that. Looks bulky. Thinking about a Cannon MG something now.

  • Can imagine it's hard to make a choice.. There's tons of different types, models, sizes etc. If you don't know what you're looking for it may be best to just go to a store and let a professional lead the way. Together with some common sense you can make a final decision.

    +1
Not sure that there's much difference between the main brands, but Epson always seem to have the best drivers, in contradistinction to, for example, HP, who can't write printer software for shit.

Look for 6 colours for photo printing, and be prepared for a set of cartridges to cost half or more of what you paid for the printer.

  • I'm VERY satisfied with my Brother printer, they also to photo printers. But again, don't know how they are.

    Noted. Cheers.

Im aware of the ink rip-off.

  • I have a Windows 8 PC which I can access via remote desktop. I don't want it on all the time but occasionally want to access it. Is it possible to get it to wake up from standby or hibernation when I try and connect via RDP. I have vague memories of a setting to do that somewhere in earlier versions of Windows but I seem to remember it was only with a wired connection. Is this possible with wi-fi?

Standard packed Lunch: Sandwich, Piece-of-fruit-or-yoghurt, bonus item (crisps, chocolate, nuts/trailmix)

  • Any oversized riser bar recommendations? Bonus if I can pick them up in town tomorrow
I love my nittos, but don't really fancy shimming 25.4 to 31.8.

  • Woodman Deda RHM02, check out condor, they usually have a nice stock of bars, I got mine there.

  • riser bar recommendations?

    Deda RHM02

    Seems unlikely
