  • Last night I tried Saltaire Brewery's Cascadian Black. A black IPA (a variety of ale that has never really convinced me) from a brewery that has never disappointed me. I'm happy to say the brewery won out. I'm now celebrating with a bottle of their Triple Chocoholic Stout.

  • Awesome label
This American beer ain't bad either

These were on 6 for a fiver in chorlton offy, sadly no more :( The pale ale is really nice

  • What should I do for Dec 05? Go to the pub or stick with a bottle?

    ('Both' is the correct answer)

  • At the pigs ear last night

If you go make sure to try Something Something Dark Side. It's a cracking porter

  • Something Something
Dark Star Brewery? Or is there one that's actually called Something Something?

  • both

    Done and done.

  • 2 more dark ales worth a try, and more of the Smokeless.

  • ^ the syl is a nice black ipa

  • Stout and Blackcurrent. Mod and mine favourite of the season.

  • I used to work the bar at a goth night in Cov, that was amongst the popular drinks...

  • Euston Tap have a lot of bottled beers I've never tried. That is all.

  • Funny, but the 'open letter' reply thing turns into too much of a marketing blurb.

  • Why wouldn't you use it as a marketing opportunity? Like he says, suing them is probably hypocritical and even more likely a waste of time.

  • Euston Tap have a lot of bottled beers I've never tried. That is all.

Is that because it's best avoided? I'm alighting there tomorrow so might pop in for a beer if it's to be recommended.

  • Euston Tap has awesome beer but is a bit shit atmosphere wise. The Bree Louise just around the corner has an excellent choice of ales but is more of a proper pub and cheaper!

  • Cool, cheers for link.

  • Late train meant no time to visit either if those pubs this visit. Any worth visiting around Northfields / Brentford?
