Been to The Lord Nelson, a Fullers pub. The Jack Frost winter ale was alright. Tasted the Bengal Lancer IPA which was ok, would have pint if I see again.
We thought about 4 corners but are both too lightweight for that these days, plus little'un passed out before I'd even finished a pint.

Euston Tap has awesome beer but is a bit shit atmosphere wise. The Bree Louise just around the corner has an excellent choice of ales but is more of a proper pub and cheaper!
Another Euston Ale house is The Doric Arch (http://doric-arch.co.uk/) in Euston bus station. Which was called The Head of Steam. It used to specialise in beer from up the Great Western line. Now a fullers and still has a good range. Food is pretty old school bub grub. Not so well known so less busy/trendy than the Tap.

Should of kept small child off the whiskeys and on the session ales...

^ She'll learn. That said, she's currently passed out in The Red Lion oppo Ealing Studios. Means I got my pint of Bengal Lancer today having been sent out on errands whilst J has a nap.
The light is not great for photos but here you go:

Is that because it's best avoided? I'm alighting there tomorrow so might pop in for a beer if it's to be recommended.
No, it means I usually go for the draught stuff but checked out their fridges and there lots of interesting options.

the 8th must've been fun.

• #2188
I daresay hippy wasn't in a position to tell whether it was fun or not.
-

Depends if they were 7 pints, halves, or thirds I guess? And over a day or just a short evening session.

...halves, or thirds...
Eh? -

We stumbled onto the Craft Beer Pop Up on Shoreditch and gf and I had a fun night. :)

They were bottles in an evening and I'm a trained professional. Don't try this at home kiddies.

Eh?
I used to shun the half but I've found that at beer festivals you actually get more beer as they always overfill. You also get to taste more beers. Thirds would do my head in though.

Yep, halves is the way to enjoy a good beer festival.
-

Thirds.
You get halves, but it only costs a quid! Winning. -
• #2198
Doing it wrong.
-
• #2199
Thirds when they cost more than £4.80 per half.
Finally hit the Asda 4 for £5 aisle:
The Lancaster Black was alright, others yet to try ( except Old Tom which is always great).

Just had a bottle of wychwood bah humbug from aldi, pleasant but plain.
Have a beer at all four corners of the Brentford stadium and pretend you're in a Robert Rankin book.
