That Red-Dog place has a newish 'American Sandwich' place next door to it right? Looks so good. Get a steak wit' wiz.

  • Ginger Pig ultimate pork pie - combo of pork meat, black pudding and caramelised onions.

I would so much rather eat chicken...

  • Anyone been to Saltyard? Going this evening, quite excited.

It's brilliant. I really enjoyed it.

Courgette flowers with goats cheese and honey
    Classic tortilla
    Tuna Carpaccio
    Briased Iberico cheeks

    are must haves

  • Goose FTW...

  • Went to Hoi Polloi for my birthday meal on Monday, it's the restaurant in Ace Hotel on Shoreditch High Street.

The food is great, and they serve Ting as one of their soft drinks.

Turnip and Horseradish soup is not something I've heard of before but it's delicious.

  • Goose FTW...

I lobbied for goose last year, lost, and received this card from my wife on Christmas day:

  • You need to spend more money on the lobbying this year then.

  • Im sure this has been asked before and its a case of UTFS but, any favourite brisket recipes?

  • Use the brine, Luke.

Drings Butchers in Greenwich also does them. Also not cheap though

  • For British style rolled brisket I would go a browning then carrots, onions and other root veg, thyme and bay in a big pot. Half (or all) of a bottle of wine. Stock if it's not wet enough then in a medium oven for 3-4 hours without peaking.
