Just noticed that the Lee Valley Velopark webpage now allows you buy gift vouchers for on track 'taster' sessions starting in the new year and prices for general track usage.

Although no actual confirm dates to when the doors will be open to my Fuji

"If you are an accredited rider for an outdoor hard track (e.g. Herne Hill, Welwyn, Palmer Park) you will only need to complete level 3 and 4 of the accreditation process"

You can't and never will be able to book. The velodrome is just an illusion left over from the Olympics. :)

I thought it was a marketing tool for a well known crisp maker.

Accreditation update on website:
Currently if you are accredited at Manchester, Glasgow, Newport or Calshot (indoor tracks) you will still have to pass our own accreditation process. We anticipate this changing in due course as we are currently working on a national plan for all five major indoor velodromes to share a unified system of accreditation and will state here if our process changes in the future.

Believe it was headed up by Lee Valley Velopark, but makes a lot of sense. They've also been working hard to establish links with all the outdoor velodromes in the surrounding area.

It probably won't help anyone who already has accreditations at Manchester/Newport/Glasgow though, as I imagine they will only accept accreditations done after the process was standardised.

My girlfriend's mum bought me one of these for Christmas (completely unprompted, amazing!) - any ideas when it opens for booking?

Apparently a group of us from work may be invited to go to a session at the Velopark as 'guinea pigs'. Hoping it's the velodrome and not the BMX track.
