I've seen one person walking so far. She didn't look very happy.

I need to get some milk if I'm wfh anyway.

It's a tailwind for me, I'm riding.
Though if it's nasty later, then I'll be catching a train or tube home.
The building I am in is moving. It's making me feel sea sick. The blinds and lights are swinging like pendulums. Being 19 floors high this is quite a strange thing.
An hour of cycling has got to beat a day of feeling sea-sick.

Yay, week off, going for a walk in the park.

'Good' day for biking in from south west - wind turning to NWesterly this afternoon. Or London-Cambridge-London for nutters...
-
• #5907
Sadly, I'm doing the exact opposite (orders new knees)

It's not the possibility of a headwind that's stopping me from cycling, it's the prospect of being blown sideways under a bus.

^^ This. I took the DLR today.

I'm cycling in.. If you don't hear from me after 9am..
Call the coastguard or London port authority..
Btw my fence survived, bike park roof panels didn't :( -

I went out for a walk and it was not as exciting as the thrashing trees outside my window led me to believe, 2/10, would cycle to work.

Crane has collapsed on OKR at so thats been shut westbound.

Think I'll do Muswell Hill & Highgate this morning - figure a headwind is less of an issue if I'm already grinding uphill. Plus most of the roads aren't on bus routes.

I shall be riding in. It is always a headwind coming from North London. Should be a challenge.
Provided I don't get killed -
• #5916
I let the tube take the strain.
-
• #5917
I've pumped the tyres up on my cross bike, then sat on the sofa again.
-
• #5918
I nearly got knocked over by the wind yesterday, there's absolutely no way I'm riding today. 7 miles is a 2hr walk, right?
-
• #5919
50 minute run Hats- go!
-
• #5920
I am going to ride, Rotherhithe to Forest Hill if it's too bad will just get off and push.

Not allowed to run at the moment, walking it is. I texted my boss to let her know, thinking she might say to stay at home and she's just said "stay safe". She better make me a tea when I get in!

There was a bus at 6.14 from Highgate which had me at my desk by 6.47. This included picking up coffee from Pret on the walk from bus to office.
-
• #5923
Right, lets see how windy it is.
-
• #5924
Sounds like its calming down

Starting work before 7am?!
pukes on alarm clock
It's quite mesmerising. Bit worried about my fence, though.
