  • Here it comes:

  • Shout out to all loft conversions in progress in SE13.

Mine is finished and not in SE13, but I always feel the wind. It's going to be interesting. Very possible I will not go to work.

  • installs wind turbine real quick

  • Don't try and fight it Dammit. If you end up in Birmingham 10 mins after leaving home, so be it.

  • Trains already canceled before 09:00 tomorrow.

  • what a load of bollocks ...

  • Shout out to all loft conversions in progress in SE13.

Mine isn't in SE13, plus I've moved all the tiles off the scaffold so there is only the nice soft wooden boards to blow down and kill passers by.

I'm seeing it as a positive. The nick brisk wind will better dry out all the sodden wood from the pissing rain.

  • Block of flats opposite has 10 storeys of scaffolding on four sides..
Hoping none of it ends up in our garden or hit our building :(

  • I think that after all this buildup nothing is going to happen- 5mph winds at the most, bit of drizzle, done.

  • Now's a good time to renew your buildings insurance so you can tick the "no previous claims" box.

  • The school opposite ours is covered in scaffolding. Hopefully it will give me something to watch if the wind wakes me up in the night.

  • My building has scaffolding up, right next to my massive skylights...

  • I'm basically going to look out the window tomorrow, and if the apocalypse hasn't arrived I'll be cycling to work.

    I'll have a hell of a tailwind.

  • Most dissapointing sorm ever. It was maybe slightly breezy when I went out earlier and now its totally calm.

  • Same here, it's all a fabrication to get us to stay at home whilst the gub'mint does something secret to all the telephone poles I reckon.

  • If my fence blows over I'm blaming 'well is it' and 'dammit' for not taking this storm seriously ;)

  • I see Chris Hopkinson is riding Lejogle. He started this morning, so he is hoping for an 80mph tailwind.

  • It's a bit blowy now.

  • Aye, s'windy

  • Um. I don't think I want to ride. I can hear people's wheelie bins being blown down my road :/

  • Um. I don't think I want to ride. I can hear people's wheelie bins being blown down my road :/

Perhaps you can draft one? "wheel(ybin)sucking"

  • Fuck riding to work in this weather. I'm not risking life/limb to get to work.

    Stay safe those who do!

  • I just emailed my boss asking if he wanted me to try to come in or work from home.

If he says to come in I am going to walk.
