Anyone buying this:

Slightly tempted...
With colors being the natural way of distinguishing cities I'ts been done so many times it gets rather embarrassing

That and the reason I like to cycle round cities is because you get to explore areas the guidebooks don't often cover. Having a guidebook seems to defeat that purpose (although having not seen the contents, they may be very good and worth having.)

I would expect it to sell out pretty fast, also.

I have a little insider knowledge that they will be released as individual books at a later date. also they will be nice, albeit a little pricey.

^^ This.
They seem relatively inexpensive considering they charge £30 for this: http://www.rapha.cc/race-notes

I was going to buy a winter baselayer (not the weird face one) this week anyway so added a set to get free postage.
At the very least it will make a really nice Christmas present for someone.

I got a pair last week, tested them out in drizzly rain yesterday, water beaded on fabric, dry legs, well chuffed with these!
Worth noting the nano treatment (stuff that makes water bead off trousers) eventually washes after numerous laundering cycles. I know their 3XDRY treatment has a short life cycle

http://www.dryinside.co.uk/tech.html'The protective function of NanoSphere® is still retained after frequent use and numerous washing cycles and has no effect on clothing comfort, look, feel, breath ability or elasticity.'
http://www.schoeller-textiles.com/en/technologies/nanosphere.htmlI think this is the same coating being used on legwarmers etc by Castelli.
At £20 a pair I'll be more than happy if I get a year out of them.

I think that at £20 you will be extremely lucky to get 6 months out of them

oh sorry i thought we were talking about nanoflex arm warmers!

I bought a Rapha wind jacket recently. My plan is to use it with a merino mesh vest, a short sleeved jersey, and merino arm warmers. That way I can either wear it all and be comfortable even if its pretty cold (although not so rain proof). Or pack the warmers and jacket into my jersey pockets.
This set up does me for about 90% of my riding. If it gets properly cold then the PTJ with long sleeve merino base. The wind jacket is hands down the most versatile and useful item I've ever bought.

I dont know I just feel a little weird wearing arm warmers under a jacket. I just feel it should be a LS jersey instead.

But then you don't have the felexibiility of stripping the arm warmers off if things warm up. Layers FTW.
I have only heard good things from buyers who gave in to temptation. Weather not bad enough to fully test them yet though.
