  • I tend to get weak espresso / strong black coffee, usually top up with same amount of hot water after brew to make a nice strong black coffee

  • Just wanted to say that I was very happy with the service from Pact. There was a bit of an issue with my order and i was responded to quickly (call + email) and it was resolved well and very quickly.

Would use again, would recommend to a friend.

this is what I do too

  • Just tried the rhodomunho (spelling?), much better for me. Great flavour without being too much. Accidentally made a weaker cup than usual, tasted lovely, but not enough punch. Works for a second breakfast coffee though

  • Just ordered the mexican one.

  • Just seen this thread, £1 El Salvador coming my way.

  • I met Stephen from Pact yesterday. He's a lovely bloke and clearly hugely enthusiastic about providing top-class coffee and great customer service. The way Pact are inviting and responding to customer suggestions for their website and their business more generally is very impressive.

  • Myself and a colleague both ordered weekly coffee to the office, enjoying it very much. Very quick delivery too, until we both realised the Pact office is approximately 150yards from ours...

  • Coffee is good. tried a few so far and El Salvador is my favourite with a stove top.

They have changed the packaging and now fits through my post box.

  • Oooh, new packaging? Is it slimmer than 18cm?

  • Not sure of exact size, can measure when I get home.

But previous package couldn't get through my letter box as too wide, this one can.

  • 19" but the postie did fold it a bit to fit through.
My letter box measures 16" across. So reckon you'll be fine.

  • Nah, my poster is a jobsworth. It'd be sent back to the delivery office and my hell would start again.

  • Got the Guatemala pack this weekend.

    Fruity, not bad.

  • Bit of spam, but hey, it's free - anyone London based want a free coffee bean grinder?

  • I've been drinking the El Salvador this week - not bad, but not as good as some of the other packs recently. The Guatemala seemed a lot nicer but it might just be the aeropress

  • Got my first package today - Finca San Antonio. Very tasty. Happy days.

  • I cancelled my subscription this week. Had been having a ready-ground bag sent to me in hospital every fortnight. Though about a thousand times better than instant, I enjoy the depth and variety of flavours more in other beans. Going back to Has Bean I think.

Quite like the way the pouches stand up and fit neatly in the cupboard though!

  • still enjoying their espresso blend, pausing it tho as have beans from booths, hasbean & tank stockpiled at the mo.

    Wired in November here.

  • not really feeling the last two blends I've been sent - a bit 'weak' :/

  • ^ This.

  • Should finally be picking up the espresso machine I bought off moog tomorrow, yay!

  • Pact have pretty sweet taste when it comes to selecting their beans, very happy customer.

  • espresso blend is more like it - darker, chocolatey
