How much is this bike worth. its dark green

  • Depend on condition, no more than £200 if in excellent nick.

  • But it's the dark green version, Ed, which is rarer than hen's teeth.

There was one on eBay recently that went for £201.72.

  • Very good condition, was hoping for more then that. The bikes really fast and light.
I sold a viking fixie on sunday for £120. Ive seen A frame sell for £125 on ebay.

I think this is very much B frame though.

  • The bike looks good but isnt that good.
Im going to advertise it for £250 once I take some pics. Or I may sell the frame.
I have a 1987 specialized rockhopper Frame. Maybe I can respray it and Build A fixie with the parts.

  • I have a Team raliegh panasonic replica bike. the serial number is oc12026. Anyone know how old is by the serial number. The bike Looks Less then 1 year old.

  • This might help you in your Raleigh serial number quest.

For pricing information, the forum has a How much is my XYZ worth? thread.

  • A friend just sent me this picture of a frame he left in front of my door in my student house. He told me I could have it. Any idea what it is?

  • A Lapierre.

  • A white and red one at that.

  • Yeah I get that. It's a Lapierre Audacio. Alloy frame probably about 5 years old. But is it worth building it up for let say a winter bike?

  • Looks like this:

I googled red lapierre road bike...

  • Hmm mine certainly looks like the 2013 model...

  • If BLB track hubs are re-branded Formula's, what are the BLB Freestyle hubs? where can I get them cheaper?

  • If a frame has a 95mm head tube and uses an Alpina internal headset roughly how long should a steerer tube be to have a stem slammed? I know stems are different but I mean just roughly.

    Make a perfect touring bike

  • Does anyone know a decent (but cheap - if that exists??) chain bath and lube?

  • Make a perfect touring bike

I bet it would but I stick to carbon when it comes to touring ;)
Though next time I will probably look for something with disc brakes...

  • it doesn't come with a fork - disc front?

  • ed, where can i get clamp on front disc for my tarck..?

  • Is there a big orbea dealer somewhere in central or west london?

I think the ordbea avant m50 ticks all my boxes (mudguards, nice winter training and won't break the bank to the point of divorce) and looks extremely future proof in terms of electric and discs, but I want to have a ride...

Always use the best lube I can afford as cheap lube is a false economy when you consider the cost of chains, rings and sprockets. Rock'n'roll gold for me. Saying that though the cheapest is paraffin wax .. takes an effort to apply though!

  • Just spit on it.

Add the stack height of headset and stem to the head tube, then add another 3mm for the spacer on top of the stem. Integrated headset stack should be about 5mm with an STS cover, road stems are 40-44mm with a couple just under that. Taking all that together, you need 150mm steerer
