Where's the mergatron when you need him?

Problems started when importing - programme freezes and has to be forced to quit. Have tried rebuilding the library by pressing the Apple and options keys when restarting iPhoto, and then selecting 'rebuild the library database from the automatic back-up'. Have also tried rebuilding the library usingiPhoto Library manager. Any other ideas much appreciated

The solution is to not use iPhoto. :)

iPhoto is a bloody drag. Have never used it and done everything manually.

I found it great - really straightforward. Until it wasn't.

Waste of time. It lost loads of my photos once, never used it since.

I'm happy with iOS now that they FINALLY added a control panel type thingie

I much prefer ios7 on the iPad than on the phones. I use android anyway but the new design looks and works great on the bigger screens.
Control centre has been a long time coming. Having to go into settings just to turn WiFion and off and adjust brightness was silly.

The new task switch is ace on the phone but just doesn't flow with the four-finger-swipe iPad gesture in the way the old one did.

Finally got it on my 4s. So far it's snappy and works really well. Think I really like it.

Apps with old keyboard feels really pants now

^ What I've been waiting to hear! Lots of talk about 4 but not 4s. How long did it take?

Updated my 4 last night. Took about half an hour. All running fine (touches wood) and doesn't seem any slower than before. Was a bit weird looking at first, bit like a kids phone, but actually not that bad at all. Quite like some of the new features.

Through iTunes. You might have to update iTunes itself first

Would anyone who is in the know/ has done the SSD optical drive replacement MPB mod care to weigh in on the pros/cons of using a hybrid drive vs a proper SSD?
