Looks like I'm getting an early MBA from Hobo- he says that there is a known issue with these connecting to WiFi, but that there is a software fix.
Has anyone done this, can confirm it, and (ultimate goal here) can recommend a method?
Or is it as straightforward as applying all updates?

at worst it might just need you to stick a wifi dongle in the usb port instead.

That'd be annoying in terms of nice clean lines etc.
For the majority of the time it's in use it'll probably be connected to a mobile phone via bluetooth, but it'd be nice for it to "just work".
