Don't know about reporting - but the high max speed is not necessarily a car thing. Strava just goes a bit bonkers at times.
I gave up on the thing after it told me I did a max speed of 117.1 mph on route to Dunwich last year.

It's possible that she forgot to stop the Strava app from running. If you look at the overall elapsed time, she might have ridden somewhere, and then left and got on a bus or in a car later on. Happened to my mate, he accidentally left it running all weekend and got KOMs from London to Doverā¦

Yeah, and if you have done it, you can crop the ride on strava, so there's no excuse.
