Sounds a lot more than others but I reckon they'll totally be worth it.

It's not that much more than a Max Power if you get it painted. Not sure exactly how much Ryan was charging for his old polo frames but I know it wasn't sustainable (or at all comparible to the price of his other frames). Mans got to eat.
But yes, definitely on the premium end of the scale. Better to spend all my money now while I still have no responsibility.

Can someone explain what Magic X Oak is?
Is there any info out other than the name? -
• #10205
Built and designed by Oak Cycles, with input from Magic Bike Polo.
Like the Hija Marinos, but in this case, Ryan(Oak) probably knows more about polo geometry than Marino.
Does Peru even polo?

Probably best to talk to Max or Ryan about the details but my understanding is that it was no longer sustainable for Ryan to continue making custom polo frames for the price he was doing them for (they were virtually cost price). The geometry will now be standardised (eg size S, M, L) and Max from Magic will be handling all the orders/customer side of things so all Ryan needs to do it fabricate them. End result is that people can still get Ryan's craftsmanship and geo in a polo frame without paying proper hand made/custom frame prices and Ryan makes enough money to support his business.

That's pretty much it.
Please speak to us directly, if you are interested, or have questions, as that leaves Ryan the time to get on with building them, and his other bikes (as he's very much in demand)

Whoop! More oaks on court. Mine is absolutely sweet as. Couldn't recommend it enough. The bike has more ability than i have skill, last night i started to push it on court and its scary how well it handles. I wish I'd had a frame like this when I started out 5 years ago. Chuffed that mine is the last of the custom oaks too!
