Absolutely, what size do we want?
50x20m is the size of Roller Hockey rinks, which is what US are starting to model polo courts on IME.
45x20m might be a little bit more manageable for players of all levels. This court needs to be the best court in London to get people showing up for regular sessions. If we get the size right it'd be awesome.
I can only help at weekends, too.

The court in Paris is 44x22, and it's awesome.

The total space is **39m x 36m **with an extra 2m or so for access along the south side...

Everyone forget the midweek list and worry about being around on the 21st.

What Tim said, had a meeting with HH yesterday followed by an informal courts meeting at Ryan's stag-do...
We decided the best thing to do is build and paint the court in one go on the 21st Sept...
Thanks, Matt, I'll keep you posted tho' I think you're car'll be too small... We may just hire a man with a Luton van...

So the court build is gonna be happening this Saturday...
We're gonna need:
• To mark the court out this week before the weekend as well as putting a test screw into the tarmac to show HH we aren't gonna be ruining the surface
• Van and driver (maybe it'll be less hassle to book a man and Luton van, thoughts?)
• Lots of helpers to load the van in Hackney
• Lots of helpers to unload the van then build and paint the court at Herne Hill
• One experienced court-build fore(wo)man to figure out how we should do this and then oversee the build... Probably the most important job on the day so please come forward! As this is gonna be a temporary court we're gonna make do for now and weatherproof it as best we can without spending too much money... We'll be using some marine paint on any exposed top edges (possibly covering the top edge of the board with a rail much like one of the courts at the LO), the rest of the wood will be painted with green outdoor paint...
We'll need bodies with as many cordless drills as possible and I'll organise the brushes, rollers and paint...
The court will be fixed on three sides, one side must be removable so the entire MUGA can remain open for other activities at the velodrome...
Er, that's it... List time?
