    Here's a few different angles:

  • for carrying stuff, i thought that was kind of obvious

  • And you just zip tie a Garmin mount onto the bar?

  • I don't think that would work very well.

    Secure saddle, but qr wheels.
Massive rack, not enough air or spokes beneath it.
    Race chainset, risers.

Also it's brand-new, so it's functionality is deffo untested.

I like how the the bell matches the brazing though. ;)

  • ^ total pedant post.

Also raw or clearcoat + no guards does not = functionality and does the owner not own cable snips/can't afford crimp ends?

  • Could be from a country where rain are so rare, it scared the shit out of people.

  • I am enjoying having a functional bike. I think I'm getting old.

    Ftfy!

  • I thought about getting a bar bag yesterday, but only if it could fit a decent sized thermos in. That's how old I am.

For reference, this is my reader's wife functional bike (not really that functional - more like a fast audax/winter trainer tank):

  • I'm really jelly, was that on the bay? or did you get it custom?

  • ^ ebay.

^^ Looks pretty functional for the intended use to me. Are the forks 1" or 1 1/8"?

t'was ebay. Was on auction with 5 days left, sneaky PM, and ended up paying £240 inc post to the seller, who was a lovely bloke. It's mint. Bloody steal (steel).

    1 1/8"

I don't do 1" forks or quill stems any more - it's was in my 2012 manifesto and will remain there for as long as I am incumbent mayor of dantown.

  • Is it 853?

  • nah it's 631. It's not light, but rides lovely.
