Couldn't the dude at least wear a cap and some water proof gloves? :/

^^ looks functional to me. Why those tyres though? Tougher tyres for an outdoor/dirty track?
They're (I think) 42mm Specialized Trigger Sport that come standard with the bike.
However the tyres in the photo look different thought (but look like Specialized as well)

I want one so much, I cant imagine ever using it

It is, it's one of those seatpost that absorb the road vibration for those who does not understand tyres pressure.

Yeah, I reckon those two dudes know nothing about tyre pressure and touring.

They were sponsor by Specialized whom spec the bicycle (COBL GOBL-R seatpost, a whopping £150).

Ed, have you ridden "proper" Pave?
-
• #4341
Nope, thought I like to have a crack at it on the 650B, good thinking Neil.

^^^ maybe from Evans. Elsewhere it can be had for closer to £100. Which puts it in the same ballpark as other high end carbon seatposts.
Also while seatposts obviously aren't going to match up to big low pressure tyres they do make a difference ime. I've got a Specialized Zertz seatpost and there was a noticeable difference from the previous cheaper inline carbon one, and there was a difference between that one and a Thomson-style VN one.
