Awesome bike dude, need massive mudflap thought!

Not sure where to put this but I'll pop it here .. looks interesting if the frame set is not to pricey as an alternative to a Boardman etc

I thought about getting a bar bag yesterday.
I got khaki Jandd one for night rides / long rides. I use it loads.
It's awesome in the dark. Whilst noobs on planet x carbon 'whips' disappear into potholes I have a 6 cell battery in the bag and a Bentley headlight *

- it's not a bentley headlight it's a Magicshine

Thats nice, but that ergo stem can do one imo, just get one with the correct amount of rise
-
• #4384
A steel stem painted to match the bike would be perfect.
Can't he not run V-brakes and normal levers instead?
-
• #4385
Looks like a she not a he Ed, but yes I agree about the levers

Tuck in the straps, nose up the saddle and rear light to, Just to be fussy, very nice though

I know :)

I'll probably change the guards at some point as they are a bit rattly and slightly bent after storage. Though knowing myself, that could take a year to happen :)
-
• #4389
Waaaa its time to put the mudguards on my Genesis but I dont want too, its far too fiddly. Anyone fancy doing it for me?!
-
• #4390
I'm waiting on a cycle to work scheme voucher so I can build myself a functional winter pompino with mahoosive tyres and mudguards
maybe even brakes.

Never underestimated the importance of mudflap if you value your bicycle.

Hah! Awesome, thought it would get quite heavy when caked with dirt.
-
• #4396
From current project.
It would handle weird but still awesome.
-
• #4397
Thanks. Handle weird -- why?
-
• #4398
I'm guessing because pina designed it as a through and brought race bike and it has quite steep angles and therefore isn't the best bike to fit a front rack to.
