  • I've been on an oil rig for the last 10 days. I'll probably be slower.

  • You'd have to be able to keep up to get any sleazing in.

I brought my lady catching net just encase.. but wasn't needed as the sweet smelling rapha pelton appeared to still be warming up when I past them however they must had sped up as I only started to lap the stranglers near the end - attempted small talk at the lights, got nowhere. Will try the DAS courting technique to impress them next time.

    See nothing sleazy here.

  • So who's going?

  • Sounds like it will be a quiet one. I'll swing by the gates at half past, otherwise will go solo.

  • I think TT's are over for the year for me due to timescales and work and stuff. Soooo the winter clinchers will be going back on the Batmobile and I'll hopefully be out again soon. Was thinking of trying mornings though, hmmmm....

  • Just sneaking out of work with my lycra on now :/

I should be at the gate before the 6:45pm departure. I'll be in Grupetto kit.

  • Ah I thought you might have been a forumer. I was on the red diamant steel with rolla jersey.

  • Looks like I'm 90 seconds quicker on my winter mudguards special bike than my carbon tubs bike.

  • I rocked up a little late and found that the BBC where holding a 10km race in the park.
Their lovely staff had taken over literally every locker in the hub, so I ended up having to do laps with my rocksack on... still can't hurt i guess.

  • I had to do errands instead. Sorry :(

  • Hi Hovis!

Started off riding around with Hamed, bossing it with a hybrid and a back pack on. Good effort! Finished the ride with a chap in Trek kit called David, nice to meet you.

  • Oh his name is Hamed? What a beast! he had front suspension and all. He kept up for quite a few laps.

I'll say hello next time now that I know what you look like.

  • Hi guys,
First time on this last night after saying to myself two years ago I must try this out as I explained to FixedCheese.
Legs were demolished afterwards, what a beautiful feeling!
I did lock my suspension a few laps in.
My stats as collected by my trusty cycle computer:
Time: 52:37 (forgive me for being short of an hour my legs died)
    Distance: 19.5
    Avg: 22.3
    Max: 33.4

Hovis, I think I remember you but the blood stopped going to my brain after a while to sustain my legs.
Thanks FixedCheese for easing me in.
I hope to make it next time.

  • Moving my hour of power back to Thursday - thought it best to avoid the temptations and eventual cease and desist court order from the rapha girls.

Riding my Fuji - not seeing any other forumers as normal probably.

  • I'll be there. Will swing by the gate as per usual.

Need to get the last few of these in, winter is looming.

  • Anyone else in?

  • Im in.

But I cant imagine I'll be keeping up with you!
I may also start a little early. What bike will you be riding?

  • I'll be on the look probably wearing my usual rolla poser kit.

  • I don't have Rolla kit yet - but will have a cap. Probably in rapha cross jersey.

  • In.

I'll be riding around ~6.30, red BMC, garneau kit

  • ^Full kit wanker.

  • Depends how much work I get done today, but an appearance is... likely.

  • Out. Will be working :(

  • Is anyone going to the gate? Otherwise I'll head straight out
