I was there fixed later on (7.30 to 8.45ish). Haven’t been for ages, plus my legs were fucked due to slowly reintroducing weights into my regime as autumn looms. Just rolled around in a non-committtal manner and threw in a few brief sprints.

Sorry if terse with closet fixie-skidder who asked my ratio at the mosque lights after I declined their suggestion to DAS. Weird mood at the moment.

I did end up going along with the fixed gear, did bang on an hour, averaged 33.2km/hr

Very happy with that considering it was solo, and my usual riding isn't anything like the H.O.P

People usually ride the outer circle these days, as it's less boring. (and this is coming from someone who loves riding in circles)

Gotcha, I only did the outer for the first time yesterday with mountaingoatmatt, and I 100% agree it's more interesting.

But during the day the peds/red lights/traffic are just ridiculous

Thinking of heading down there on tomorrow on Wednesday evening too to get in some sneeky extra practice riding in circles ahead of the trackday on saturday and the weather looks better.
