Enjoying the ride of this, very stiff.
Want to sort out a seat post fairing as the long skinny post looks out of place and finding an aero post long enough might be expensive,

shame you missed out on this Aero (probably Mick Burrows) carbon seatpin 27.2, note: very long, at least 28cm from round section to rails. £20: http://www.lfgss.com/thread110836.html

They're forever popping up on eBay, long sizes aren't that rare. Besides, you don't have much seatpost exposed on that frame, so won't need anything too long.

Will keep and eye out, the pic was taken before I'd ridden it, needed it raised a fair bit more after that, not too much mind.

two functional projects:
the one in the back is for my dad to take up commuting again. well aged c40 with early millenium ultegra. it's nothing too fancy so there wont be more photos in a while.the one in the front is replacing my kona unit monsteur dadmobile and porteur bike. I just fitted a top tube child seat today. it will get a porteur rack too and some mudguards come winter weather. also debating puting a 1x10 downhill transmission on it à la shimano zee/saint or sram xsomething, but currently SS.

What is the front frame?
Also how come you decided to replace the Kona?
-
• #80562
it's a rawland drakkar. the kona was stolen. and the shop, didn't have another in the right size.

I did a frame swap last night from my old MBK conversion to an Affinity.

Wasn't built at my house so didn't have any outer to recable the front brake so will be doing that at the weekend, and all my friends keep bitching about the saddle angle so I'll take a look at that too.
New wheels are gonna be built probably end of the month, then might put drops on it, but apart from that I'm happy with it, been lusting over a lo pro for too long.

nothing wrong with the saddle angle in my book, it's the bar angle that's wonky
-
• #80565
Looking pretty nice man!
How're you liking it?
-

@B0N0R - how do you suggest I set up the bars? Genuinely open to advice as I've never actually bothered sorting them out, just always set them up "flat" and that's been alright.
@Indra - Only ridden it to work and the saddle height wasn't quite right but - as much as I hate the phrase - it felt fast. WIll see how it goes on the ride home.

Yeah flat with the ground i'd suggest or tilted up a tiny bit. Look like they point down in your pic
