As others have mentioned, I often get a short phrase or line from a song stuck in my head. Never getting past that bit. It's quite frustrating. Yesterday it was a line from 'Go Your Own Way' by Fleetwood Mac.

I had a terrible commute once when GinaG kept singing "Oooh aah....justuhliddlebit Oooh aah....justuhliddlebitmore" for an hour in me head.

oh my life. the last week I've had that line "I don't like cricket, whoaa, I love it" just looping in my head when I ride. I ended up singing, until I run out of breath.

^^ I'd be praying for the sweet release of a dumptruck rolling over my head.

Aye, I gave my brain a good talking-to when I got to work. I was "DJ-ing" all day in the workshop so wiped out any remains of 'the G' by feeding it all day diet of Hawkwind, Gong and Soft Machine.
That'll learn it. :-)

I had Eddy Grant - Baby Come Back in my head the other day. I then spent half an hour of my commute trying to remember who it was by. Then in trying to work it out Electric avenue came into my head.
When I don't have my mp3 player I often get Bob Marley going through my head.

Wasn't it the band he was in 'The Equals' that had a hit with 'Baby Come Back'?

"Go on, close that gap. I dare you".
I've been listening to these girls on the commute:

which has made my cycling a little more anarchical than usual. -

Over the last few weeks I have been thinking about a forthcomng best mans speech I have to make in September.
I find cycling pretty good for thinking things through. Especially good for resolving problems on the way home from work. -

Don't run tyres on max pressure in this heat. Especially if you are going fast down hill. I blow a tyre the other morning
-
• #447
Ooof. Did you come off Mike?
-
• #448
I also had my tyre blow out last week in richmond park because of the heat...
