Got this 1989 Joe Waugh frame and forks:
On the one hand, the paint's really not so good (it's a flattering photo), there's quite a few marks, etc, especially on the drive-side chainstay, the BB threads are totally fucked so it needs a threadless BB, and also the Campag seatpost is stuck.
On the other hand, it's made of 753, has nice Cinelli lugs and BB shell, and rides amazingly.
Sized 54ctc s/t, 55ctc t/tHow much should I expect to get for frame, forks and stuck seatpost? (ie, not with stem, bars, headset, etc shown here)
It was my first nice frame, and is still the nicest steel frame I've ever ridden, so I'm quite sentimental about it... if it's worth fuck all I'll just keep it in the shed and look at it every now again.

The buying process was a pain in the ass and now that I finally got it, I spent the money on an another bike waiting for this frame to arrive. I don't have money to buy parts that this frame deserves, would it be worth more than £200-250? It's a Paul Donohue track frame, 853 steel.
Did this sell....?

how much would be a fair price for a 28" wheel with a tubs rim (but without the a tub-tyre!), with a Campag. Record hub, in good condition?
(assuming there's a forum-monger out there riding tubs with race-spoke twenty-eights in need of a spare wheel!)

£180
Presuming you missed the bb issue?
Think £180 might be a bit ambitious...I'll prob put it up tomorrow for £100ish and see how the wind blows...
Any objections?
Okgood. -

Large Charge Plug Freestyler f+f and FSA orbit headset, in decent nick, any idea what I'd get for it?
-
• #1288
I'd say about £300 would be a fair asking price.
-
• #1289
£300 for a Charge frame & fork? Sounds a bit steep to me? I was thinking it would probably be worth £150 to £200 but maybe I'm miles out?

I'll take some tomorrow
Sure and we can decide between us if you want, they're £240 new but of course they have been used and don't really want to lose more than £100 if that helps
Although of course, we can figure the fairest price
I would say E75 - E90,-
