Full Suntour Radius groupset - '91-92 I think - very little use - what do you think it's worth?:
Little. Very little. Radius was a group roughly sub-Shimano 105 level-- between Edge and GPX.
Old stuff in demand are generally things that were sexy and "lusted after" in their day. That means in the SunTour lineup the Pro groups: XC-Pro and Superbe. What do you think a contemporary Shimano Tiagra groupset will be worth in 20 odd years?

is 250£ shipped for a spinergy wheelset, tubular with campa 8sp cassette, too much or a good price?

Too much.

been offered some 9 speed record hubs on pretty rough rims I've not heard of, guy wants 150+
Thinking 200 or less, or am I well out?
-
• #1307
What year record hub? Pic ?
-
• #1309
If the rear is the same year as the front the hubs alone is prolly worth 150 or more depending on bearings and cosmetics etc. Front dont look minty tho..
Theres no pic of the rear so perhaps you should ask him for one to make sure the hubs are a matching pair (same year/modell) so there isent an older hub on the rear. If same modell those are 9/10/11 speed compatible and expensive when in good shape.

thanks for the info and advice buddy

Np. Just remember if the rims are toast or if you are planning to rebuild them with other rims the cost ads up pretty quick so even if the hubs sell for those prices (when in good shape) it may not be worth it to you..
If just looking for a good campy hub the daytona / centaur / chorus / record r more or less identical hubs from that era and the lesser variants do not cost near what good condition record hubs cost.

Nice one, just planning my first geared ride, snagged some decent record 9 speed cranks, eyeing up some chorus ergos, thought they'd make a good match with a rim change after some riding.
Will keep an eye on them.
Thanks again buddy

After the apocalypse?

I think Mavic wheels are made at their factory in Annecy, France, but it's possible that they are made by Asian children. I dont know for sure.

Im searching for the year this particular wheel was made/released to the market, not the location of their factory!

Hi - anyone heard of an Italian bike brand called Ampa? I've got an old Ampa Giro D'Italia, which Simplex gears, an early 3TT stem, Agrati cranks, Gnutti skewers etc. and something called Tecno Tubing. How old is it and is it worth spending any time on it? There are photos here:

i have a colnago decor, a mix of shitty parts (sora, xenon, mirage, miche brakes, ...)
precious owners spraypainted thefront and rear fork black (paint comes off easy) and the seatpost is stuck and has been cut off just above seatpost
paint has a lot of chips and the chrome has some rust
i would like 150£ for it shipped, too much? if anyone is intrested, let me know -

All NOS or brand new
57cm GT frame
Bars and stem Cinelli
Arione saddle
Prologis cork tape
DuraAce shifters, Sora front mech, Tiagra rear.
Specialised Turbo S tyres on Mavic rims laced or Shimano hubs
105 cassette and chain
Jagwire cable set
Exage brakes with Shimano pads
Not turned a wheel off the build bench - immaculateBuilt up because it's so fucking pretty, but eight bikes in the stable...... Is 450 a silly ask?

bit of a parts bin build there, not much matches. also the rd cable is too short, so has 'crimped', and the chain is possibly too long.
could be quite a bit better
-

Valid, is parts bin build (the NOS stuff) still, reckon my thinking is in the ballpark or silly? You're also right about the cable but perfectly functional and I'll sort.
Don't need to sell, just don't needed it either.

it won't fetch what you're indicating because it just doesn't look right, sorry

Hmm, an unsarcastic Thankyou. No need to be sorry for honest opinion!
Apart from the cable which we'll take as a given, where have I gone wrong aesthetically?
Non-matching Shimano gruppo is undetectable at three feet? And saddle isn't period obv. but my favourite arse perch.
If yours, what would you itch to change? SRS question - my other bikes are all contemporary (or silly Frankenbike engineering exercises) pretty retrobike building isn't my forte.

Any ideas what my Alan frame and forks might be worth?
Alu frame, CK 1" headset, 1" threadless carbon forks, also include original alloy chrome threaded forks and campag athena threaded headset, also the seatpost, not sure what to ask..

For £450 you'd want this all matched, and above tiagra spec. you'd want it to be matching, and detectable at three feet.
