My lo pro is at the lbs getting the seat tube reamed and steerer re-threaded, it's my own fault I know what they're like, but can imagine it being around Christmas when I finally get it back. Was going for a resto with period parts, but I'm actually going to use the bike, and modern parts cost the same and are better. Now thinking Sram Rival, makes total sense but getting giddy thinking out when it's finished. Apologies for the cross posting, just smug enough I'm eligible to post in this thread.

what bars would you use with the rival shifters?
-
• #1486
I was planning on using tt brake levers, with the downtube shifter still operating the rear mech.

Ah rad

For extra tart points, hack a Doubletap Flat Bar lever to the downtube boss
-
• #1489
Go for Di2 instead or the Sram equivalent. Then you can have little buttons by the brakes

Like the sound of this, but even I'd struggle to pull such tartishness off.

What size road bike do you normally ride?
-
• #1493
Do i get the approval? The saddle is slightly lower on the seta than the orlowski and that's the lowest the stem will go
-
• #1494
You get the Slam dat Stem seal of approval for the Seta, although you might want to consider a -10° stem and the replacement of the bearing cover.
-
• #1495
I think it's more a question of steerer length.

it's already pre broken ?
whats that on the down tube ? welded section ?
Eek it is a bit slack isn't it :S still looking for some straps. All SLX aero tubing- seat stays look amazingly thin from the rear.
