finished up the ottadini. not one for the brand purists but I like it.
I really like this, I have a pet peeve against clamp on brakes though. If you are going to ride it with a brake in the long term, why not just get some lugs or a separate fork?

Hi to all.. I'm new here and want to show U my two singlespeed bikes completely restored by me.. Both of them are over 30 years old and I saved them from garbage.. maybe some of you heard about ROG bikes from Ljubljana, Slovenia...
I'll start thread with complete restore procedure after I have full access on forum...
black one
white one

Solid bikes but you should SERIOUSLY look at getting some foot retention.
-
• #77781
white one got two brakes and black one looks like it might have coaster brake
-
• #77782
So?
-
• #77783
black one has coaster brake and white one hand brakes..
IndraRipper can you explain "foot retention"? english is not my natural language..
-
• #77784
So?
you don't strictly need it in either of those situations

something that holds your foot to the pedals, like straps or clipless
-

Clipless pedals or clips and straps/straps will give you more control over your bike and make riding much more enjoyable.

thx B0N0R.. I dont need it on these bikes.. I use Shimano SPD on my road bike and MTB.. these bikes are just for cruising in town and going on work.. flat pedals with pins are enough...

Close ups:
The build is just for this moment while Rossin is in for repair.
You're right - comfort is the main reason for a Flite, it's my daily ride bike though.
Aches, it's Nitto M184 STI. -

Jealous. There look to be some pornographic frames stacked up in the corner too!

^I too haz De Rosa with worn flite! that needs a bit of post winter sprucing up...
Over the winter the front hub flange (Hope Mono) cracked First step in the clean-up was to rebuild front wheel with a new (much) stronger front hub. The build is a tad odd in that the spokes are laced in pairs so you have 2 going to the right flange followed by 2 going to the left flange etc
Anyway, finished it today and quite pleased with the result - a tad porky at 1140g (incl. tyre/tube/skewer) - but should hopefully be bomb-proof.

Tbh I found a clamp on brake for cheaps and like the green fork.
What is "get some lugs"?
Looks stunning in the flesh, the bars are nitto M186 IIRC
