I've bought Seta frame set from classifieds. It came with 4za Ellyps carbon track fork. I was wondering if it was possible to drill it and fit a brake? Thanks.

It isnt possible to drill the fork if its carbon I would say

Even if it were possible, good luck getting anyone to tell you so, with all the assumed liability that involves
-
• #943
Don't drill carbon.....
Don't fuck with it in any way, only do what they say you can, don't abuse it*.Get a drilled fork if you want a brake!
-
• #944
Thanks for advise guys. Gonna sell it and buy a road fork instead.
-
• #945
It depends on the fork actually, if its got an aluminium crown it'll fine to drill.
-
• #946
Wise move, the Columbus tusk forks are supposed to be good and very reasonably priced.

Did something similar to you this morning, accidentally unclipped and put my foot in my front wheel and ripped the toe off my shoe. Luckily I avoided any spokes in my leg!
-
• #949
Shit man, hope you're not hurt too much and that your bike didn't take much damage!
-
• #950
Thanks I'm fine, (besides bruised pride and toes) I also lost a spoke and haven't the foggiest where it went!
