I probably have a spare 3 bed apartment booked near Radda that sleeps 8. It's in a hotel with a pool and a spa, has a kitchenette so you can cook for yourselves if you want, satellite TV, 2 big bathrooms w/ showers, and is about 1100 Euros for the apartment from Friday to Monday.
Stayed there last year, it's in a beautiful setting (where in the area isn't?!), but frankly I'd rather have been there with the Mrs rather than 5 sweaty mates.
I'll know in a few days if I've got another place in Gaiole, so if anyone fancies just taking over the booking let me know and I'll pass on the details as soon as I know I can release it.

I've booked the 8 person apartment through Booking.com, and the hotel doesn't open until 30th March so I don't know what the procedure would be to take my booking over, but I wanted to put it on LFGSS rather than just cancel it on-line and have someone random have it. When the hotel opens, and my other place is definitely confirmed, I'll know what needs to be done to take the booking over.
In the meantime, there's a couple of interested people, and one has suggested a list might be an idea, so here goes (add yourselves if interested);- 105 Champ

Yep. It's got a busy year ahead of it - Pendle Witches this weekend, RetroRonde (crit and GF), L'Eroica and possibly one other retro ride in France. As well as a bit of posing about if we ever get a summer in the UK.

I look forward to seeing you on the road then. I will be in Gaiolie in October regardless of wether I make the cut or not.

I'll be taking my hetchins too ;0)
If there is a place going in the accommodation stakes, I might be interested....if not, I'll be camping on the football pitch again!
With a bigger fucking tent this time........

Anybody in the 1,000 - 1,500 range heard anything?

there's a lot of questions in the facebook group for L'Eroica (https://www.facebook.com/groups/eroicaforum/) too, even from people with a number below 1000. Claudio Marinangeli answers the questions pretty quickly, maybe you can try it there

Blimey.....just had a scare. I had been meaning to book my flight for a few weeks and kept forgetting to....went to do it today, and it looked like they had gone up to nearly £400!
Eventually tried again, and got it for £155 including the bike carriage and a car ;0)
Jobs a good un! -

Deeply envious of anyone signed up for this year. Just did the course over three days and it was great fun, especially so on a vintage Colnago. Here's a blog about it for anyone who speaks Italian or (like me) can be arsed to use google translate. The respect and admiration I have for anyone tackling the entire course in a day knows no bounds.
