  • Raleigh Yukon 501 frame purchased for £3.21.

So now I just need 1.1/8in rigid MTB forks threaded or threadless and a headset.

  • ^ Inclusive of p&p? If so, good deal!

  • I have got an FSA pig headset you cab have if thats any good to you?

  • Threadless? probably. I need to see what forks I end up with first.

  • Yeah man 1 1/8" aheads

  • I'm selling my Steamroller. £450, mint, not even a year old. I'm in Norwich. See the main classifieds for the ad: http://www.lfgss.com/thread101696.html#post3425646

  • Just putting out some feelers - I'm getting some new wheels from Varno next payday, so will be getting rid of my starter wheelset - White Omega Mach 1 rims, unbranded black hubs/spokes - would anybody be interested in them? Might be good for a beater/polo, as they're round but not much else?

  • I too am selling an old set of wheels. They ar 36h front abd rear flip flop hubs with 25mm rims. Think they may be charge but unsure. Want £65 for the pair... Lenme know if there is any interest.

    Cheers.

  • Falcon Tornado frame + seatpost + crap brake calipers.
    53cm C-T seattube. 56.5cm toptube.
    For 700C wheels.
    £30.

I'll take that FSA headset if you still have it Mark. Is it 30mm stack height?

  • I'd be really interested in taking a look at that Falcon, where/when are you?

  • Do you still have this frame?

  • I scored a frame in London yesterday, so I'm off the market for it (sorry Ben!)

  • I still have loads of bits for sale, stems, seat, bars, brakes etc. A few new items added.

Updated for sale list is here: http://malbuc.100webcustomers.com/benpics/forsale/bikeparts.htm

  • Tempted by that saddle for my mountain bike. Kirsty has one like it on hers, though, which she doesn't like, so I might just be getting her a replacement that's comfier for her and taking hers. I'll let you know.

  • A (non forum) friend of mine will soon have a blue Pompino for sale. Size is medium and it's one of the older models with a longer wheel base. Will be F+F and possibly drive train for sale. If you're interested drop me a PM.

  • Made the mistake of just google image searching Pompino, as I wasn't sure what kind of frame you were talking about. Very NSFW results, came as a complete surprise to me expecting a nice Italian track frame or something!!!

  • On-one Pompino is what you wanted.

    Not:

    pompino
    Italian

    Noun

    pompino m (plural pompini)

    (sex, vulgar) blow job.
    Derived terms

    pompinaro
    spompinare
    succhiacazzi
    ciucciabecche

  • Quite.

  • Sorry, should of made that a bit clearer. Remember to clear you brower cache :)

  • Aha, I will do, although I was sitting next to my girlfriend when I searched for it, and I think I was more shocked than she was!

  • Nice

  • IIRC, On-one were poking fun at other manufacturers giving things fancy Italian names that they didn't warrant. Pompinos aren't particularly special but I love mine.

  • Ah that's pretty interesting. I know Cove make some similarly outrageous named frames - Handjob, Hooker, Stiffee, G-Spot etc - but I don't think they're trying to be that clever with those!

  • Got a set of wheels for sale,

BLB King Front hub, polished, Sturmey Archer 2 Speed Kick Down Rear Hub with Coaster Brake, built onto Velo Orange PBP rims with double butted spokes, rear is 3 cross, front is built 1 cross heads in. Wheels have done less than 10 miles so are as good as new!

Cost £250 in parts without build, Im after £175 ono.

Also got a pair of 22.2 Velo Orange Left Bank Bars - Unused - £15
and a pair of unused Velo Orange Belleville bars, again 22.2 - Unused - £15

Both of the bars are 25.4 clamp.

I'm in Norwich, so can deliver

  • I'll take one of those bars - mind if I ride the Fuji over and see which suits best?
