can't find one of the pairs of VO bars, though did find a 36 hole H Plus Son Polished SL42 rim, 700c, never had a brake run on it, no dents, straight as an arrow. A pair of steel Atom Lab 1" rise bars. 22.2 clamp, so will fit bmx stems or other stems with a shim.
Rim - £20
Velo Orange Bars - £15
Atom Lab Bars - £10

Long shot but does anybody have a steel track frame kicking around that they'd be willing to flog me? 56cm or 58cm. Need a project I'm so bored.

Yes! White, 55 though...with 3ttt quill stem and Nitto Persuit bars, £220. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=3836526804060&set=a.1450855683773.2056853.1604686187&type=3&theater

I'm almost tempted but I think it'd be a bit small. I'm on a 58 at the moment and it feels only marginally too big.
-
• #1188
Thats fair enough man. I was advised that being on a 58 sized road geometry bike, a 55 would be right for track geo
-
• #1189
Fair one, well maybe after holidays I could stick some wheels on it and try?
-
• #1190
If spiderpie doesn't take it I might be interested in this too (new job permitting) so keep me in the loop.

I have a Concorde Colombo up for sale, want to get rid of it by summer. 58 seat tube ctc, 57 top tube ctc, 75 degree angles (I think, through the wonders of trigonometry). Columbus Aelle. It's very pretty, please buy it. £150 including headset and Chorus BB (headset could do with a regrease and new balls, but isn't too bad)

is £100 too much for a Fuji feather frame?
-
• #1193
Pretty solid frames. Try for £80 though as they are mass produced and nothing "special". Still good though!
-
• #1194
Nothing "special", maybe, but you'd have to pry my Fuji from my cold, dead hands.
-
• #1195
Sorry dear! Sparkys fuji is pure example of how good they are. How many miles dya recon uve done on it Matt? Still going strong, non?
-
• #1196
I've done easily 5,000 miles on it. Still going strong - in fact, it got a little facelift tonight, courtesy of Keppel.

I've just had it so long that I'm really attached to it.

• #1197
I couldnt imagine you on a different fixed frame. The frame is probably worth less that your crankset. Lol

Is that with headset too by the way? What is it?
-
• #1199
yep, can't beat the fujis. I've got over 2000 miles down on mine easy in just over a year.
Best £250 I ever spent I reckon. -
