So my roadie just bucked me off and luckily I had just turned a corner so was going slow. This morning the chain kept slipping from the top to the middle ring (triple) if I hit rough road. Each time I had to get off and reseat it (I failed at fron derailluer adjustment class) due to rubbing.
Anyway it's been unable to change for ages but it's never kept bumping off. When it was in the middle it would slip if I put any power down but never go onto the granny too.
Now my big ring is bent to fuck and rubs the front derailluer at certain o'clocks.
Can I just buy another 52 with same bcd or is there something else at play?
I don't want the fucking thing but cannot afford another so spending money is one of those neccessary evils.
I'd rather have snapped up the Harry in classifieds than spend money on this a part out the rest.

Checked that the middle chainring isn't worn out?
As the 52 ring is knackered you might as well change it. Setting up the derailleur isn't too difficult. I'm sure there are guides out there. General guide though - 2-3mm above the outer ring when centred above the ring.

My Timex Ironman does this. Interval trainer.
Actual better to set it for 2 mins cruise pace, 30 secs big effort, or something. It does that too. Theres loads of models, so just hunt down a bargin.
I don't know if you can see this: http://www.sportpursuit.com/sports-lifestyle/ironman-expedition-digital-chronograph
But it's £18 and this: http://global.timex.com/watches/expedition-chrono-alarm-timer-t496619j

Sorry, I've already got one of the older ones. I was looking for newer ANT+ one as I dropped one last year and the LED is a bit wonky.

What rear spacing?

anyone?
Nope.
That porteur rack has a flat bracket that mounts at under the rack and attaches back to the brake bolt.Otherwise it would just pivot on the mudguard eyes, no?

Are there any other snowboarding shops other than snow and rock in covent garden in central London?
I'm trying to find new snowboarding gloves - ideally with some sort of wrist strap/support.

Will BC face my BB shell on the spot on a Thursday evening/Saturday morning or will I need to book it in?

Phone them and threaten to piss in their drinks bottles.

Phone them and threaten to piss in their drinks bottles.
Might need a few visits to actually go through with this threat. Or a lot of awkward hanging about while my bladder refills. I think I'll pass, thanks.

Re: knackered 52t
What's the difference between
http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/shimano-fc-2303-130mm-pcd-5-arm-chainring-silver-prod26229/
and
http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/shimano-fc-2300-130mm-pcd-5-arm-outer-chainring-b-type-silver-52t-prod27809/They are both 5 arm 130mm I cant find any info on which is used on my bike (it's at work)
Also can I just swap out the bust one for another 52/130mm?

Not sure the expedition ones have the interval training timer. The Ebay one only has a 10 lap memory. Are you using it for running? Mine has a 100 lap memory. Once you start using the memory, you fill it pretty quickly.
30 is a nice minimum.
http://burasi.co.uk/index.php?i=B000JNJLXAI'm also a fan of velcro straps. Hate having a watch too tight or too loose when running.
