Anyone here ever owned an Armida A1? Beast of an auto, wondered if any fellow wristers had a review? Ta.

I'm getting annoyed trying to buy a watch now. Its quite a frustrating industry to engage with.
Full of scammers, fakes and it seems that most legit shops try their luck with punters anyway. Just been quoted £3k for a watch that is work £1.7k tops by one supposedly reputable firm.
Come on, I know you say you are flexible on price but you can't claim to be a reputable and trustworthy firm and then open negotiations by testing to see whether you've got a gullible person with too much money and no reseach in front of you.
Make me a high offer by all means but don't call me an idiot first.

Absolute beast of a diver that, pretty good for $650 too, could have sworn they were at least twice that when I last looked. Not owned one personally but the reviews I've seen are generally good http://www.watchfreeks.com/view_topic.php?id=22851&forum_id=111.

Alsal watches have reported back that my 15 year old Eco Drive is completely dead. I guess the world has stopped too.

Very nice indeed. Nicer than the Junghans Max Bill with similar strap IMHO.

I was just thinking this. I just like things to be straight forward. I'm going to put the money aside and just keep looking. Sooner or later I'll find somebody who isn't trying to del boy me who has the watch that I'm looking for.

Do you reckon they could do me a custom one with a burberry plaid strap?

Yeah but I reckon theyd look a bit bulky on your wrist ;p

I think these straps look too fussy, better with leather given how spare the face is.

I think shark mesh is very chic on the right watch...
All she needed to do was accept my offer on eBay, tell me everything that I wanted to hear and I probably would have sent her the money tbh!
