Question: Black frame (http://www.lfgss.com/thread99113.html#post3327196 ), going for vintagey look...
Do I go black (not plastic) or chrome mudguards?
-
• #71290
color coded mudguards are more vintagey.
do you have any photos of the unwrapped frame. please... -

thanks. if budget allows it, get a set of gilles berthoud stainless mudguards and give them to bob jackson to paint them matching black, maybe with a white panel too.

Crappy photo is crappy. Picked up this frame last week.. Tear drop shaped 'aero' down tube, seat tube, fork and seat stays, no idea the tubing but it's not heavy, nor crazy light, but nice geometry.
Just some posed parts up above, trying to decide where I should take this. I've most of a Mavic group, most of a Dura Ace group, I could also fill in the gaps with Stronglight or italian bits. Full french would be fun, full DA too for a change, full Mavic a pain to complete.

Morley bros in Cambridge. This was the first bike they did after 4000 go-bikes in a row. Would recommend them, just not the brand of paint I used...not the toughest.

Tychom that is boss. Dura Ace please.

I've been finding myself crosschaining much more than I want to. Currently I am running 53-39 up front. What would you 'orrible lot recommend I try to stop it? Chainring-wise I mean.
