I'm moving into my own place (hopefully) at the end of the month and decided that I definitely need an xbox.

Very late to the party but have always enjoyed playing rock band on my flat mate's console so decided to treat myself to a late xmas present.

The last console I owned was a PSP. I played the heck out of ridge racer on it - is there anything similarly arcadey racing style on the xbox?

Overtheroad forza is rather fun. You can play it on arcade.

Just picked up Retro City Rampage for half price on Steam, not sure if it's going to be any good but it has a ridiculous amount of references in it so at least it'll be fun. If it's half as good as Hotline Miami i'll be very happy. On another note, i've just downloaded I Wanna Be The Guy: Gaiden, retro style ridiculously difficult platform game, give it a go if you haven't already.

Played a little Max Payne last night and this morning. Good so far.

The open beta of Hawken is rather good. Ive been hankering after a solid mech game for ages. Shame there wont be single player campaign and the progression system needs a bit of tweaking but the heft of the mechs is great
