THQ is a shame - I loved Red Faction back in the day.

I only picked up Fear 3 out of that lot. The previous ones have been decent enough to justify chucking a fiver at the most recent.

Burnout was fun - nowhere near as fun as the previous instalments but I had that on 360 and sold it.

Vice City gets ps3 release, bit only as a ps2 classic

Was reading the Edge where they reviewed San Andreas last night, they were a bit cynical about it, I frigging loved it, buzzing the whole place up in my private jet

I really wish they would just release a HD vice city.
Been meaning to play San Andreas again on the PC. I've only ever completed it once.

Been playing GTA4 again only on the PC this time.
Nothing like having your own music on a radio station and although it isn't optimised that well at all the graphics are just wow wow wee waa.

If San An got a Vita release I'd be all over that.
Never completed it on the PS2 -
THQ have now gone. Most studios picked up elsewhere (Relic by Sega for example)
The Homeworld IP hasn't yet been sold.
Isn't homeworld part of relic?
I'm looking forward to Dawn of war III: Horus the hedgehog.
The original Homeworld was made by Relic, but the IP wasn't theirs (It was owned by Sierra) THQ bought the IP from Sierra a few years ago, thus reuniting the publisher that owned the studio and the IP, but little seems to have been done with it. It seems that the Homeworld IP was still assigned to THQ, rather than passed to Relic, thus it's still for sale.

Anyone got a copy of Medieval II? Disc's gone missing, can't find a crack that works, and well I've got nothing better to do than engage in lengthy siege warfare at the moment... ;)

Got about 60% of the way into Assassins Creed 3 hoping for it to pick up and it still hasn't, then watched the Zero Punctuation review and he's pretty much hit the nail on the head as usual, it's just boring tbh

Just picked up Absolution for £10 on Steam, may as well give it a go. Haven't played it yet, but did notice it has 47 achievements. I see what they did there...

Also, got this a few days ago, just finished it, absolutely awesome game with some great comedy. Imagine Super Monkey Ball mixed with a tower defense game.

Haven't played it in a few weeks but when I first got it I couldn't put it down. Running around hunting shit with a bow and machete is too much fun.

I really enjoyed doing stuff to get the special weapons. Little samurai knife ftw.

Did anyone play the SimCity beta?
if so, how was it?
-
• #7397
^ really wanted to but it was pc only (I'm on mac). This article was okay though:

Nothing massively enlightening but interesting enough.

The fact that there's no option to play offline is a bit daft imo.
-
• #7399
I've bought Diablo 3 though, and I'm now of the opinion that as long as I get my cost per hour down below about £0.50 I'm fine with that. That would mean around 70 hours of play at current Amazon preorder price...

50p per hour is good.
You can usually get better than that with games I tend to work off the £1 per hour.
Tempted to go back and play Diablo again, it did get boring quick though.
Natural selection keeping me busy enough, hopefully till GTA5 arrives then it's hello holiday goodbye life.
Nothing in Origin sale that excites me in the slightest really!
