While this thread's still breathing I can add my longest surviving Dale. Started off as racing bike in 2000. Can't find any pics though :-(
About 5 years later it became my local forest Winter twin speed.
It later went on to become my local shopping workhorse.
Whilst very little paint remained & it got a bit creaky, I could never part with my old Caad2, so it's currently being attached to my turbo trainer. Just needs a few more modifications.
The original headshok lasted 2 years.

If it's just singlespeed and not fixed wheel, I'd recommend getting a Surly Singleator or something. I have one for sale, £18?

SteveSome drop bars. You'll be pushing pretty hard on 53x15.
I've some 42cm road drops (anatomical shape). 31.8 clamp area. Very light and hardly used.

Nice - I've seen headshock frame/forks go for more than that. Well done! Assume it was pretty badly listed?

Oldish. Cannondale did a disc CX model between 2006-2009. Based on the CAAD8 then CAAD9. A bit before their time. Had a rigid alu fatty fork that looked kinda fun. This one doesn't have an Optimo label so it's possibly a 2009, which judging by the catalogs were Optimo frames but didn't feature the Optimo decal.
The CAADX now has a disc model but this isn't one - they are made in Taiwan.

Was just a case of being lucky I guess . But then I only paid £200 for my system six frame and that was like new !
They do.
