It is, felt surprisingly nimble and light to ride compared to a normal Dutch bike, and lighter than one to boot.
Very odd design but would love to own one one day with a full mtb group set.
strangely nice isn't it? I was considering posting it in porn but I thought that would have angered some :P
I would also like to own one one day, they are still being made but are pretty expensive. Due to small scale production perhaps? Amazingly there are still some knocking around that are over 100 years old! (yes really)

Yes, a real sculpture...
Camper Bike, a sculptural piece built in April 2008.

Is it useable? Yes. So its a functional bike regardless of whether it was created as art or as a product of necessity. And anyhow, why point out that its a sculpture? Are you assuming that I or others couldn't read that for ourselves..?
-
• #3392
I point it out because of the comment about crosswind.I imagine it'd be pretty horrendous thing to cycle with whatever the wind condition and the title of sculpture on the website confirms that function would have been the least concern in the design.

Is it even long enough to sleep in?
The small bunk bed on the top is probably useful for a dwarf.

Apart from anything we are discussing at least two different bikes as though they're one. The vid and Kevin Cyr site show a bike plus trailer. The photos stop the page and the sketch Edsgoble just posted are if trike.
The bike / trailer looks so exceedingly unsteady. A trike (cycle maximus ad trike type) would be the way to do a functional one. He'll you can pretty much kip inside the ad board on them already!

The bloke riding the bike in the video, he doesn't look very comfortable pulling the trailer.
