Is there any way to get in contact with hotmail / outlook? I was trying to send a link via email the motherfucker has asked me to answer loads of security questions and then locked me out!
Any hints or tips?
Anything would be much appreciated.

We have a hole in the paint on our bathroom wall and our landlord is coming round to inspect the property next week. Do I:
a) leave it, with the consequence that the landlord logs it and come moving out time we'll be stuck with a bill for repainting at least the whole wall.
b) attempt to patch it up?If the latter, how do I go about it? I'm assuming I get some sandpaper (not sure what weight??) and then sand down the edges (sanding inwards to avoid removing more paint), then get a little roller and apply new paint.
The wall was originally painted only just over a month ago and I have a small amout of the same paint that the builders left behind.
I've never done painting before. I'm fine when it comes to swinging an axe or chainsaw but somehow feel that either of those is likely to make the situation worse.
The offending hole:

pick le paint back to where its still solid. rub down with a medium paper to feather the edges, get some 'onetime' filler load up le filling knife and fill in an x pattern once for each pass. leave it.
wait for it to dry completely, if all is well paint it, if not, repeat the x fill and leave it to dry etc.
or ^^ ;-)
if its down to the plaster u might need to prime it 1st.
need to paint with roller as well to match the 'orange peel' effect of the last job.

Builders employed by your landlord? Tell him to get them back in to rectify it, paint doesn't just fall off like that unless they've made an error in the preparation. It's not down to you to make good if his contractor does a bad job.

Precisely so... However it can sometimes be ripped from a wall by a loved one trying reposition an adhesive towel hook while I'm away at work.

Put a slightly larger self-adhesive towel hook over the area in question?

Buy one sheet P120 grade aluminium oxide sandpaper and a small packet of powdered filler.
Rub down hole removing flaking paint, mix up small amount of filler apply proud over the hole, you can use a stiff bit of plastic for this. Wait for it to dry, rub down gently flush with the wall. Repaint. -

I vaguely remember somebody recently saying something along the lines of "when I'm not up a tree"
Who is this person and is this recreational or are you an arborist?
over is easier to remove in a hurry without moving bibs...
