  • I have to know the same. Is there a munchbox vendor within 10mi of my school?

  • As its my birthday on friday, thought id get the birthday breakfasts started early this year.

  • Made some foccacia di patate the other day. Didn't put it in at the right temp (still not quite sure with my Celsius to Fahrenheit conversions, so it didnt end up cooking that well and was a bit dry, but still delicious!!

  • ^ That looks superb.

Have you got a recipe for the dough please?

  • has anyone tried a red pancake? looks like the perfect companion to a blue waffle

  • You are a fucking awful human being.

  • This we know.

    Surely you're not surprised?

  • So you ate a munchy box??!!

Negatory. I got way too drunk to think about food. I did a little sick in the hotel room.

Need to encourage London fast food joints to introduce them on to the menu.

  • This we know.

    Clearly wet behind the ears.

  • Off to the countryside.

Where we eat like kings but have no 3G or reception whatsoever.

    ho hum

  • So... Where can I get a munchy box in London?

I need this and am considering a one day trip to Glasgow at the moment.

There must be a fast food place run by a Glaswegian somewhere in london...

  • uploaded weird.

Anyway - home and demolishing Morston mussels at a alarming rate

  • mrs_com did sirloins and creamed spinach tonight. clearly getting married was a good idea. plus the breadmaker has been running every other day. 5 seeded wholemeal and the Panatonne have been my favourites

  • cooking for one.
newly single. pretty messed up about it. led me to compare food notes with another single girl.
i was feeling lame for what i made as it seemed to reflect my mood. a bit of a pathetic attempt.

Last night was brown basmati, shallots brocoli and roasted butternut squash with parmasean.
    she had: cheese on toast.
today I made lime, coconut & chipotle white rice with brocoli and shallots
    she's contemplating: cheese on toast

so far being single has reminded me that the food shop lasts longer and tends to be less diverse. I still have 2 meals of brocoli and about a dozen shallots.

I hate cooking for one - if only for that.

  • ^ +1

I'm on the brink of starvation before I cook for myself. 2 days or more without my girlfriend to cook for and I get early signs of scurvy.

Mate! Make ottolenghi's black pepper tofu - add in that broccoli - serve with rice. You need about 10/12 Shallots for that.

  • ottolenghi's black pepper tofu looks awesome. i'll try and remember that. ta.

  • Cooking for 10 today. All Swedish stuff.

    Starter: Gubbröra

Mains: Wallenbergare with mash. Wallenbergers is like a burger patty, but made of veal mince, egg yolks and whipping cream. It's insanely good.

Dessert: Swedish Eaton mess. Ish. Meringues, cream, vanilla icecream and cloudberry jam.

Can't wait for 8pm when I'll be done, starting to get drunk, and can dig in.

  • last night i found mutton leg was significantly cheaper than lamb shanks at the supermarket

i now have mutton, that I have studded with anchovies and garlic sitting on a bed of potatoes in the slow cooker with a few slices of lemon on top

the house smells so good, but i doubt it will be ready for another 4 or 5 hours, i am feeling so damn hungry

You won't be disappointed, it is awesome! I sometimes add fried aubergine into the mix as well, very tasty!

The starter sounds great. Cloudberries are fantastic, I bought the jam for my cat sitters and they loved it.

  • Gubbröra is done, turned out great. Meringues too. Rest is yet to be cooked, gonna be a hectic evening.

  • Just made potato pancakes on the leftover mash. Wish I had bacon.

  • I neglected to book Ottolenghi for Birthday lunch on Sunday until just now. Of course, no space. Not sure where to go now. Ideas?

  • Mrs Glover made Jamie Oliver's Jools pasta the other night, OMG if it isn't one of the best things that's come out of our kitchen. Pork mince, fennel, balsamic.

    9/10
