  • Any reccomends for a compact?
ParryWife is after a new one.
Bridges are too big, its something small wanted to chuck in a bag/ pocket for happy snaps.

    No specialist requirements.
    Thanks

  • Canon Powershot S - series.
I have the S95, and it is ridiculously good. Will shoot RAW (and with the option of RAW+small JPG), good range etc etc.
Arguably out-resolves my 450d in some ways

  • ^ looks good. So is the S95. Had a go with a friends one, very impressive

  • Sony RX100

impressive camera, may be overkill for the average punters who just need a decent camera to take picture at half that price.

  • any comments on using old film camera lenses with a Sony Nex 5?

  • Should be good. Have a look on http://www.rangefinderforum.com/ and photo.net

  • You've got to hand it to Berlin - it's a pretty photogenic town. Here's a couple from today.

  • any comments on using old film camera lenses with a Sony Nex 5?

Bear in mind the crop factor (x2 I think on the nex). So if you use a 50mm lens, the equivalent on the nex will be 100mm.

  • What set-up, the colours are gorgeous...

  • Loving those bike polo photos. Really cool.

  • They're all really awesome, especially like this one. What camera?

  • wow. really really good.

  • Been in New York

This was my wallpaper on my laptop for so long it got screenburn. Worth a repost, its has always been my favourite shot of yours, Will.
