It's one of the places that I've always been vehemently against. The opulence, religion and the stupid expats rub me up the wrong way. I've turned down 2 Dubai based jobs over the last 3 years but if a decent enough offer came along tomorrow I'd prolly take it. Sun, heat, cleanliness and a short flight to Europe/Asia makes it sound quite bearable as things go right now.
