Does anyone not love Swansea?
I've never seen a team play with such technique and flow - come up from the Championship like them. It's such a joy to see this, compare them to WH, Norwich, Stoke, Reading etc
I think Southampton have potential to play a similar way.

I like this sing when you're winning posting.

It's fucking quiet here tonight.

Arsenal fans do make me laugh, they still think they are better than Spurs
In however many words you choose, prove this incorrect. Please.

Swansea are a very tidy little side, we missed Juan Mata today...

Ha
Everton >>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Chelsea, Tottenham, Shity, Arsenal >>>>>>>>>>>>>>Leagues over now. United will win it.
Liverpool have a chance to gain ground on some of these mid-table teams today. This is a real test for us and if we don't win it shows we are nowhere near good enough for anything other than a relegation fight.
No excuse, no bullshit. We need to go out and win today

Wigan were better than us, all ends up.
Couldn't believe we'd been outplayed like that. No energy, no thrust, lots of sideways passing.AVB may have to rejig and start switching out some of the underperformers, problem is, we don't have a lot of strength in depth, so we'll just have to make do and mend..
Falque looked good in the other Cup game, so he might deserve a start, Gallas hasn't looked all that secure in the center, maybe move Verthonghen back over and play naughton on the left.Interesting decision to substitute defoe for adebayor when we're chasing the game, seems the system takes precedence, over desperation lump it long..
Still fifth, but performances have to improve if the fans are to be kept on side, especially at home. Need a big performance thursday night...

AVB is a stubborn git, it'll be fun to watch The Spurs Project unravel...

This, it's a mid-table battle we need to win.
I don't mind the results so far, it's frustrating, but we need to give Rodgers time, I feel he is a long term prospect rather than an immediate fix.
As long as we aren't relegated I'm not too concerned about this season, maybe not even next season either, I believe he's putting a young team into place which with a few more additions (and the retirements of Captain Fantastic & Carra) will really blossom in a few seasons.
But today I'd really like a win, and fuck the future.

Question: Is his play direct enough in the final third? The build up is fine/pretty/played the 'right' way/any other cliché you like but do his teams go for the jugular enough to justify all the build up? Are they efficient enough?
Watching Swansea showed me Laudrup has scouted the excellent Michu that gets the final third for not a lot of dough.

Rodgers? Well, I think it's hard to judge, we haven't got a top class finisher. As and when we sign one (Ba? Huntelaar?) we'll see what happens.
Just watch the old games against Newcastle, I wish we had a (young) Owen or Fowler right now.

If. You'd had decent defenders and midfielders, you might have won those games.

It will be interesting to see what happens with AvB and spurs. All in all top 5 would be a major achievement. Spurs and Everton to fight it out for 4th. It's always disappointing to lose to Wigan, especially this early in the season, but he has you in exactly the position you can expect to finish in.

Sell Suarez. Buy a forward that can score and doesn't drag the club through the mire with racist comments. Just a thought.

Liverpool looking comfortable what with their possession and their history. How many are they up?

Its a fucking joke that we are losing. Its fucked up. Thats all I can say

Don't forget their nice shirts Clive. I hear they got a hell of a deal on them. Probably got a loyalty deal at Homebase too with all the times we hit the post

Mike, just had a text from our leader (it seems that I must play Doris Stokes now that B&D has gone off). He says to tell you that you are a "tit".

Just watching this game unfold. It's so depressing knowing we have no chance of turning this around and will most likely ship one or two more.
So depressing. Anyone know the last time we came from behind to win a game? I shudder to think
Does anyone have an update on the recent goings on at Leicester?
