anyone been cycling in the brecon beacons on a road or fixed bike? recommendations etc. thinking of heading over for a weekend

average grade of 2.9%, should take about 2 minutes to get up. traffic lights at the bottom, but you'll get them to yourself turning right out of rectory lane.

Windsor Hill, left at the top, left down Holtspur Lane back to Wooburn Green, repeat. Hill record is about 1:35 but 3:00 will be hard
enough for you the first time, let alone the tenth.

Got a five speed sachs freewheel. Will this work with a campagnolo gran nuovo rear derailleur mech? Will all gran nuovos work with a five speed or only ones from a certain era?

Your only worry is merely the big cog, AFAIK those can go up to 26t.
