  • I ordered a pair of Deda Crononero Team Tri bars, as I have a pair of Low Riders but I'm not getting on with the drop and wanted to try a straight bar instead.

Jokers sent me another pair of Low Riders which I'm going to have to send back to them probably before they'll send out the actual bars I asked for.

And not that it matters, but no sweets.

  • More knobbishness...

I sent them back on the proviso that they'd send me the replacements - the actual bars that I ordered. My package finally arrived back there today, only for them to tell me what they could have told me a week ago - that they don't have any more in stock. If they'd told me that straight away, I could have had some new ones on the bike by now.

They've given me a refund for the bars, but not yet for the postage. Watch this space...

  • I'm going to finish this conversation with myself just by remarking that they did, in fact, give me the €17 postage back right away, without even requesting to see proof of purchase.

I have gone from a disgruntled ex-customer to a very sceptical potential future customer.

  • Tommmmm buy profile T2 bars the shape is much nicer....

Hope sending me the Lo riders hasn't left you bar-less...

  • It's alright at the minute, as I'm tarck bike less anyway until my chainring arrives. And also I have track and road drops so I'm far from bar-less. I was looking at Profile T2s today actually, the flat sections did look really comfy, but the Team Tri Dedas are cheaper!

  • New seatpost and garmin mount are awesome. Thanks wiggle. No sweeties? times must be tough

  • But Tommmm, they are sooooooooo nice.

    Ribble do them cheapish too.

    (around £42 i think...)

  • The Team Tris are nice too, and now I have 3 sets of Deda bars I'm starting to feel some kind of brand loyalty. I reckon even if I hadn't already ordered them I'd able able to resist your peer pressure.

  • Should this thread be deleted due to the harm it could cause a business' reputation?

I got a Wipperman chain and got a small bag of hairbo.

They must really fucking hate your gut.

  • ^^No, it should get them to buck their ideas up, guarantee a higher standard or service and eventually secure them a larger customer base in the long term.

Plus there's as much praise for them here as criticism.

  • i got crucified for making disparaging comments about another retailer

  • Ah, I wondered if that was a pointed comment.

In which thread was your crucifixion?

They must have cottoned on to all of my fake customer product reviews.

"this chamois cream stuff doesnt taste particularly nice. I would recommend you advice customers to have on toast. Better than on strawberries."

  • lulz

I bought a KMC missing link, and got 2 haribo and 3 free tasters of some sort of electrolyte drink! must be loved.

  • Their website overhaul is knobbish for those of [strike]us[/strike] me still using a bottom-of-the-range desktop from 2005.

  • i got crucified for making disparaging comments about another retailer

Yeah but look on the bright side... now you get to be the new Jesus!

  • I like wiggle, they always send me a haribo or some free energy drink samples when I order. Nothing quite like going through your delivery chewing on a fried egg.

  • Never had a problem with them before but ordered tyres on Tuesday with stock showing 10+ available for depatch today.

Still no despatch email received so I email today and get a reply saying we are out of stock of this item and it will be back in stock sometime in early October.

Thinking maybe there was a backlog of orders processed before mine I go back and check the website and it's still showing 8 items available.

I query this and they just say "Thank you for your email but unfortunately this item has had massive interest is such a short time and this stock is no longer available I'm afraid."

So Wiggle's live stock figures are basically indicative at best and they may or may not actually have what you want when you pay for it but will take your money anyway.

  • Shout out to them again.

Pump i purchased last December broke last friday.
Emailed them sunday night, emailed me right back saying whack it in the post to us, paid for and we'll sort it.

Brand new one turns up today. And i'll get my postage refunded. Someone getting done for the cost but I'm happy.

    Great customer service.

No difference to most online bike shop TBH, Evans also have this, they may show "in stock" but actual database show just the one left that could easily be sold the next day and could take a week for it to be updated.

  • Or like what happened to me, reserved a light in Evans, turned up, got told that online stock count is incorrect and they can't find that light. Apparently it had happened 10-15 times but nobody updates the stock count, I'm guessing because then that store has to explain the missing light.

  • Ordered a balaclava so i can pull my commute without my lips and ears dropping off. It's late, and my order history is telling me it's not even processed yet :(

  • Tommy has put the 'fluence on Wiggles systems.
