My USB stick has suddenly stopped showing up but it still makes that noise when I plug it in, any thoughts?

Buy two UN26 while they have them at that discount. There's not much difference, and two cheap ones will give better service than one mid-range model. Between the other two, the UN55 is worth the extra £2 over the UN54 which it supersedes, thanks to the metal NDS cup.
Thanks for your help, the UN26 was in the wrong size for me in the end, so i went for the UN55.

What is the best (value) knife/multitool out there?
I need it as a general all purpose knife for around camp and in the forest in Indonesia. Years ago I used to have a leatherman wave which served me well so unless anyone can come up with a compelling reason/alternative I'll probably get one of those.

My gerber has lasted just as long as my leatherman, it was less than half the price.

+1 on Gerber.
I've always stayed away from Leatherman due to the dubious way they peddle their political views. They were well-known for screwing over soldiers involved in the recent wars who, whether you agree with the wars or not, really needed their tools. I had a friend who experienced firsthand having his tool break and them almost flat-out refusing to return it to him when he sent it in for repair.
Politics aside, that's shitty business and if they selectively choose whose stuff to warranty properly based on arbitrary factors, I have little faith in their warranty as a whole.
They do make excellent tools, though... but so do Gerber...

Hi everyone, are there cheap and cheerful 8 x 2 speed thumb shifters (right 8, left 2) that would fit 22.5 nitto risers. Its for my HHSRB (hip hop slave road bike) project.
its gotta be cheap though, very max £50
otherwise can I just use a 3 ring shifter with only two cogs? -

What's this all about? Were they against Iraq? What were they refusing to do exactly?

If you are not going to walk around with a machete, Get a foldable branch saw. They are light and small enough to stick in your bag without noticing it. They cut through tough hardwood branches real easy. And they are dirt cheap too.
In addition to this a normal pocket knife should suffice. Why do you need all that extra shit on a multi tool?

I love my opinel no.7. I gets used a lot and very cheap for a French folded steel knife

^There you go, Yasi. Now you just need to pick the right lengths of pine to build your playlist.

I will be. 2 in fact, one for cutting and the other for clearing trails but I have them already. In camp, a knife comes in use frequently but I have a feeling I'd also get plenty of use out of the extra stuff while doing anything from fiddling with the wiring of cameras to pulling splinters. Of course I realise a dedicated tool kit would be better but sometimes it is just useful to have things to hand.
Cheers for the suggestions, disappointed to hear about Leatherman.

I'll see if I can still invite people.
Otherwise on YouTube:
After signing in, go to the YouTube homepage.
Then, click on your user name on the top right hand corner and select 'My Videos'
On the left, there will be a list saying 'History', 'Uploaded', 'Purchases' etc.
Below it, you can see "Playlists +new"
Click on the +new -

How do I embed images instead or thumbnails?
I would be inclined to agree with you....dont think Reynolds ever made 501 stickers in that style though I have seen quite a few 531 in that type....also if you look between the N and the O there is clearly a horizontal green line....could get a nice little steal ;)
