  • The black one with chrome stays is lovely...

  • I actually like the Dream Machine a lot.

That's the kind of do everything machine that you could use every day until it breaks.

  • I really like the Dart. If it's proper good value, it might be my first foray in a threadless headset stealth approach.

  • these are beautiful

  • I could not handle the inherent contradiction of riding a geared bike with the word fixed painted on it.

  • But you can handle the forum's title?

  • are you sayin London Fixed Gear Single Speed is contradictionary?

  • sweet frames btw

  • Lovely frames, like the Dream and S1 a lot.

  • are you sayin London Fixed Gear Single Speed is contradictionary?

given it's all about football, geared, etc. yes.

  • Don't know where these are made but they're lovely. So lovely I wonder if they're actually Japanese built?

I quite fancy a Wide Open frame with carbon fork as a winter bike. Not sure I can live with the name on the downtube though (Shallow?).

  • I could not handle the inherent contradiction of riding a geared bike with the word fixed painted on it.

    It's not very authentic. :)

There is, of course, no 'inherent' contradiction given that there are fixed bikes with gears. What you mean is a bike with a freewheel that has 'fixed' painted on it. :)

    contradictionary

And this is an interesting coinage.

  • I've cycled round Tokyo, does that make me trendy?

  • ...trendy

Yes. Trendy, you are very trendy.

Now go back into the house.

  • Yes. Trendy, you are very trendy.

Now go back into the house.

    :-)

  • I think you're traindy.

  • Oh dear Oliver...

  • Do you mean "Oh dear, Oliver" or "Oh! Dear Oliver!" ?

  • anyone know what that Union bike is thats now in the window?
looks nice but I can't fin any info about the brand.

  • Is anyone else having trouble buy online? Tried last night but to no avail thinking the problem was down me being drunk but after trying again this morning and just now it's definitely not happening.

    I want some Chrome wheels

  • Don't know where these are made but they're lovely. So lovely I wonder if they're actually Japanese built?

Pretty sure it's Taiwan or China, but they are lovely indeed. Art work is improved muchly also.

Also, any more photos of the faux-lo-pro?

  • Big respect to Tokyo Fixed for helping me out with that 'gratis' Gatorskin tyre a coupla days ago 11am ish, you guys really helped as I was so skint and didnt want to have to part with £30. . .bless up.

  • I had an S2 for just under a year when the forks snapped, sorted me out with the kasei bladed ones, cant beat a steel frameset for that price.

  • broke a little bit on their own brand mudguards (due to over tightening the bolt to the eyelet), called them up this morning, will have a replacement part delivered to the store this afternoon for me to collect on the way home. fantastic service

  • Just came on here to write amost exactly the same thing. I tore a bit of mudguard eyelet and popped in the other day. They banged one in the post which just arrived. Cheers gents, much appreciated.
