If you ride a geared bike to a TNRC, apparently two kittens die.

Nothing dramatic. I overcooked the Christmas cycling fun, tis all.

Too many opportunities to get out in the relatively warm weather / insufficient common sense.

Bit daft really, quite sore though.

Fixed is often better for rehab. It's 'assisted', and there's less scope for sloppy form, and you tend to do bursts of minor resistance work in a greater variety of functional positions (last bit's not so relevant to upper body injuries, although my wrist healed up more quickly once I got back on the fixed (not a wanking injury)).

Certainly anyone under 40 should be fixed (this is all sounding a little Desgrange), and to be in your 20s with a derailleur on rides such as these, barring the odd bit of curiosity or experimentation, is just plain embarrassing.

Does anyone have a spare front light I might be able to borrow? My exposure joystick got stolen and I'm still in the process of replacing it (trying to get it for small beer) so only have shitty city front light.
