yeah expect it to be heavy, but built well.
I have a 60s minolta 'AL' (not Al-F) rangefinder, which are rare, but not exactly valuable (£20-50?), has a 45mm f/2 rokkor lens, and have to say, its my favourite lens (fixed to body) I own, amazingly sharp, perfect colours, epic contrast, good to excellent resolution and bokuh to make your pants moist. Has a 1/1000th leaf shutter too (claimed, but not believed) and accurate selenium match needle meter. Love it.

Because it's a rangefinder?
Being an rf doesn't mean the lens is fixed.
Aye the Minolta is lovely, with dials on the lens for aperature and speed, with the ability to chose either (or both at the same time as) auto, so you can set it up with aperature priority, shutter priority or automatic. Might be talking my self out of selling this one!
Looks in lovely condition so even if there was a way of getting the lens off and somehow onto/into an LTM or M mount it'd be a shame to split up such a nice camera.
Aperture priority is my favoured way of shooting so I'd be biting your hand off if I didn't have an R-D1 and a Bessa L and a couple lenses to pay for at the moment!

Somebody please also buy that Minolta. Get it the fuck away from me.

minolta is extra nice because it is black, everyone knows that makes cameras moah stealth, which for a 35RF is exactly what you want.
LTM mount lenses? canon used to do amazing quality leica copy 35RF's, the 'L' 7, 'P' and a bunch of others, all of which are equal to leica build quality IMO, some even have revolving viewfinders built in for the common lenses (35/50/130).
I just sold a heap of NOS LTM macro tubes to a guy in denmark, he was very happy. No idea if anyones interested, but I have a little 'C' mount 16mm cine lens here thats very nice, but theres likely only about 10 people in the entire country that shoot still shoot 16mm to any level. It can be fitted (with an ebay adapter) to the modern micro 4/3 cameras, Oly PEN, sony NEX and panasonic ???
Its a 60s/70s SOM Berthiot 25mm f/1.9 has manual aperture, has good mounting & filter threads, can include a camera C mount for it if thats any use to anyone?
Still has original machined metal lens cap. Photo was taken in very harsh light so shows up all the minute swirl in the metal that doesn't appear to the naked eye. Front element & internals perfect. rear element has cleaning marks.

kboy - I haven't used it as I don't have a camera that it'll fit.
Found some shots on flickr from someone using an oly Pen EP1, not sure if the twisted bokuh is a standard feature or if he's put a bit of twist on the camera whilst taking it? Worth nothing those shots are on the 'Lytar' version of the lens, which looks similar, but has different bezels, not sure if glass is the same?

Same, it seems a great deal, i was sorely tempted to dive into my overdraft and buy it.

Really surprised he gave away that kamera / kit for 150.
250 would have been a fair deal imo (assuming that lens works like it should). -

250 would have been a fair deal imo (assuming that lens works like it should).250 for a mint one from the Nicholas Camera co (+ warranty etc), maybe. Right now Medium format gear (except hasselblad) is likely at its lowest value, you'll notice camera shops (like Nicholas and others) practically giving it away (spotted a NOS boxed Mamiya 645 body + waist finder for £49.00 inc vat in a shop the other day). I missed out on a bronica etrs + 40mm + AEIII prism for <£100 on ebay a few weeks ago, so I think 150 is a fair price for a decent piece of kit :)

Yeah I've had the camera a year and paid about 150 when I got it off ebay, just need to watch for a couple weeks and a bargain will come round if you're quick

ffuuu erts with a metered prism and a speed grip is possibly my favourite way to shoot MF, makes it much more manageable.

Wow, prices are not that low here in Germany!
Good to know there are bargains like that on ebay.co.uk. -

So I have this little lot stashed away waiting for the day I will get back to doing some black and white printing. I don't think that day will ever come so I am hoping to sell it.
The question is how do I find someone who wants it? - is ebay the best route or would a photography forum be better. Or even you lot? Do you want it?
It's a hefty Durst M805 Black and White enlarger, two SCHNEIDER COMPONON S lenses and all the other stuff shown.

Damn son, dat a lot of kit.
Maybe see if you can get an ad up in any nearby colleges/unis that do photography courses?
You'll need a local buyer as the stuff's too bulky and fragile to post.
I think the guy I got my enlarger from had been trying to sell it but hadn't had any luck and so, gave it me for nowt.

It's going to be interesting trying to find someone. One friend would have loved it but his girl said they didn't have space.
Put the word about, PM me if anyone you know is interested.

but I feel the need for an auto-meter rangefinder...
is it a bit of a brick? I like a nice brick.
